Lovely clip of film, and I truly wish it could have been longer. You did give it a good, open ending though. Well, Open if interpreted to be so. I honestly feel like I was watching something that could have made a great movie. I mean, it had a good amount of comedic relief to balance out the some-what grim story it seemed to be going for. However, I feel it lacked some explanation- like specifically a back story on the characters. What are time keepers exactly? Do they collect souls? ((as seen in a clip, someone might interpret that as them ripping out an organ rather than his soul.)) Why is the girl in the orphanage? ((was she abandoned, did her parents and relatives die, or did her relatives not have the ability to take her in? You know, the simple stuff. And one of the main character's connections to the dark looking little girl in purple at the orphanage. I mean, why would she be grinning if a staff member was getting on the red head about having her stereo blasting? Do they have some sort of connection?

However, I also see that these things could be very thoroughly explained if another film was made, which is why I say that that is a small detail that needs a bit of work added. It did have an attention grabbing plot, and a great deal of originality to it. I loved the lighting and the shading, as well as how well the medium and two shots were implemented when showing the characters. The line art did wonderfully as well. I enjoyed this, and personally hope to see more from you as well as the others who helped with the project. Lovely work all of you.

Aye, there's going to be 8 chapters, in that time I'm hoping to answer as many questions as I can

I'm sorry but this kind of animation tends to get annoying when relooped. I mean, you did well with your shading and some of your line composition as well as lighting. But honestly it seemed to be rushed or sloppily done. As it relooped reeatedly, I became frustrated and really just.... found it annoying. It was vulger ((although you added censroship and an age limit)) and just seems out there. Please, even if it is for comedical purposes, put more time an effort into animating.

Jeez all that over making a simple play button

The animation was smooth, the colors, the lighting... epic. And whats more, an original concept for a story! I can't wait to see how much further this goes. I would have given it a five, had it not been for the audio quality. Some of the line art is a tad bit shaky too. Nice job!

kmau responds:

Glad you liked it!
The lineart could've been more polished, but I had a deadline and invested my leftover days in better sound design instead. Can you elaborate on the audio quality? It would really help to know what parts didn't sound so good.

I love the animation, and I was surprised at first. I was expecting.... a house. Not a window. XD Lovely element of surprise there. the animation is smooth, and the relooping is okay. However, the line art could use a tad bit of work. It's nice, and I expect that you meant for it to be pixilated, but smoother lines would make it look cleaner. The sound effects are perfectly timed, yet as the glass falls it wavers a bit much. Almost as if pausing. Nicely done, and I hope to see more!

Thank you =) actually its ice.

Interesting animation, and interesting form of humor. XD I loved the part where Justin Beiber was thrown into the Saw Universe. However, the animation wasn't exactly smooth and lacked shading. THe line quality didn't particularly support the humor. But, it was interesting and made me laugh every now and then. Keep going!

Thanks!

I love your animating skills, and the style you used. However, when the grenade was thrown it seemed to spin a little.... off center. The character line art wasn't entirely bad, but it wasn't entirely perfect either. But your animation was smooth, and fun to watch. Nicely done.

janfon1 responds:

Thank you.

Lovely animation and the colors, as well as the shading, were fitting. THe humor was fresh too, although a little subtle. However, the line quality for the character and the commercial characters is the only thing that gets me. Although, I'm pretty sure you meant for it to be like that. XD Nicely done!

Carr77 responds:

Thanks, man :D

Nicely done! The animation seems very smooth to me, and the music is fitting. THe only difference that could have been made would have been the tear trickling down a bit or wavering before falling completely. Nothing else to really bit- great animation!

Skyoung94 responds:

Thank you very much! :)

This is an interesting way of portraying the cycle of life. And honestly it kept me interested the entirety of the film. The only thing I would currently suggest is a little bit of work on the line quality, and going back to re-edit some of your animations. In the last few parts they seemed slightly off an went back a frame at one point. Otherwise, nicely done.

Thank you, that is why i just created it in a 2 days, like 10 hours or something. I need to get TOOLS - I mean tablet... but i will stay with a mouse for a while ;)). I'm still skilling my mouse drawling. Ty for kind review.

God DAMN this animation is fluid! Sure the rt isn't exactly steller, but it's a great attempt at realistic quality. I love how well the characters moved- and I'm pretty jealous. XD It was smooth, funny, and definitely something I'm glad to have watched. The style intrigues me, and I'm pretty sure it tops most of what I've seen thus far. Excellent!

The only thing I saw that needed a little bit of work was the line quality. However, it seems fitting for the comedy genre.

5/5

There was to many unwanted lines in the clothes. Figured if I cut down on those lines itll give the characters a cleaner look.
